Police uncover cannabis factory at house in Eddington Lane, Herne Bay

A huge pile of equipment used to grow cannabis has been dumped in a front garden after police uncovered a drugs factory in a house.

Pictures show paraphernalia such as insulation and fans on the lawn of the property in Eddington Lane, Herne Bay.

Officers have been at the house since yesterday afternoon following reports of a drugs operation.

Officers were called shortly before 3pm and seized about 170 cannabis plants, before dismantling cultivation equipment.

A police spokesperson told KentOnline: “No arrests have been made and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
