A man in his 30s died after collapsing at a supermarket, emergency services have confirmed.
They were responding to reports a man had collapsed inside the Broomfield store.
Today, the ambulance service confirmed he tragically died at the scene.
A spokesman said: "We were called shortly after midday to reports a person had collapsed at Sainsbury's in The Boulevard, Herne Bay.
"Ambulance crews attended and were joined by the air ambulance service.
"Sadly, despite the efforts of all those involved, the person died at the scene."
A police spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The air ambulance was spotted landing on a plot of land about 100 yards from the shop.
Customers were still allowed into the store, but queues were seen stretching outside.
