A man reported missing was taken to hospital after he was found unconscious.

Loved ones contacted police with concerns over his welfare after he disappeared from the Herne Bay area yesterday evening.

His family shared desperate social media appeals to track him down.

It is understood he was discovered unconscious and police say he was taken to hospital.

Officers are supporting those involved.

A force spokesman said: “We were contacted yesterday evening following concern for a man from the Herne Bay area.

“Officers attended and located the man, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

“No offences have been reported and officers are continuing to support those involved.”
