Three people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a garden supplies shop was broken into.

Police were called following the incident at the Applejacks Gardens shop in Pier Avenue, Herne Bay on Sunday.

The break-in happened between 5am and 5.30am.

A 37-year-old man and two 36-year-old women, all from the Herne Bay area, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

They are currently in police custody.
