Paul, who lives in Herne Bay and is branch manager for Wards’ estate agents in the town and Graham Goodsell, who lives in Gillingham and is branch manager for Faversham, will be taking on the 24-hour challenge from 8pm on May 23.

It is taking place at Wards in Herne Bay High Street.

Wards Estate Agents has been a charity partner of Tree of Hope, which supports families with sick and disabled children, since 2024 with a fun day at 20 branches this March raising £10,000 alone.

Paul said: “We are proud to be supporting Tree of Hope again this year and we wanted to think of something a little different as a fundraising event.

“People are welcome to drop in to support us, have some tea or coffee and cake or play a match with us.”

Georgina Lowry from the charity has welcomed the pair’s unique challenge.

She said: “Tree of Hope is delighted Wards have selected Tree of Hope as their charity partner for 2025, the support means a great deal to us and enables us to help the hundreds of families who really need our support to get the healthcare support interventions they need, that aren’t freely available.

“The Wards team show great enthusiasm and support for the charity which is great to see and we look forward to another successful year.”
