A teenager was injured in a dog attack in a quiet residential street.
Officers were called to Stanley Gardens in Herne Bay shortly before 2pm yesterday following reports of a Rottweiler-bulldog cross attacking another dog.
Upon arrival, police found a 17-year-old boy had been hurt in the incident.
The offending dog was secure at its owner’s home and officers opted not to seize it as it is not a banned breed, offering advice on using a muzzle instead.
A police spokesman has confirmed an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
