Search launched for Matthew Wilson, 17, from Herne Bay

A search has been launched for a missing teenager who has not been seen for almost three weeks.

Matthew Wilson, 17, from Herne Bay, was last seen when he left home on Thursday, January 25, and said he was going to Sittingbourne.

It is thought he has travelled to London since then and has not made contact, according to police.

Police are growing concerned for the youngster and are urging anyone who knows where he is to call them.

A spokesman said: "Matthew was last seen wearing a navy blue parka coat with a fur hood, a navy baseball cap, white Nike trainers and navy tracksuit bottoms."

Anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101 quoting reference 0126-1504.
