Southeastern train services delayed after emergency services called to Herne Bay

Emergency services have been called to an incident which has impacted train services.

But it says trains are now running through the town.

“Trains are now on the move through Herne Bay following the emergency services dealing with an incident,” it posted on X.

“Some trains may be altered or cancelled while we work to return the service to normal.”

A British Transport police spokesman said: “Officers were called to Herne Bay railway station at 3.45pm to reports of a concern for welfare.

“Officers attended, however, the person had left the station upon arrival.”
