Van fire near Sainsbury's in Herne Bay

Firefighters were called when a van went up in flames near the Sainsbury's superstore Herne Bay.

Three fire engines tackled the blaze, which broke out in Bloomfield at around 6.45pm.

Cameron Taylor, a year 11 pupil at Archbishop's School in Canterbury, took these pictures after coming across the fire on his way home.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
