Kent shooter Nathan Milgate won gold in the Slovakian Open in Vistuk.

The 20-year-old, from Herne Bay, who makes his Paralympic Games debut in September was one of a four strong team who returned with a total of eight medals in their final competition, before Beijing .

Milgate shot 587 in the qualification round of the R1 10m Air Rifle Standing to reach the final, and then shot 99.5 in the finals to win, with another Briton, Matt Skelhon from Peterborough taking the silver.
