Hythe: Boy, 15, arrested on suspicion of assault after attack next to Royal Military Canal

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man in his 50s was attacked near an industrial estate in Hythe.

The victim, who was walking along the pathway next to the Royal Military Canal at the time of the assault, suffered minor head injuries.

It happened close to the Kengate Industrial Estate in Dymchurch Road at about midday on Friday, September 30.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the incident, especially a member of the public who helped the victim shortly after the incident took place.

The 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of assault has been bailed until November 2.
