Concerns are growing for a young boy who knocked on the door of a house to ask for help and then ran away.

Police want to trace the boy, thought to be around 12 years old, after the incident in Fisher Close, Hythe last night.

He was partially clothed and had dark hair and a tanned complexion.

Police searched the area with the help of Coastguard teams, but the boy was not found.
