HYTHE Aqua Swimming Club’s Bethany Dearlove was a double gold medallist at the Multi-regional competition held in Bristol recently.

Bethany, from Littlestone, retained her South Eastern Counties figures title and also claimed the overall honours.

The 19-year-old, currently competing for Reading Royals whilst at University in the town had only just come back from 12 weeks of injury.

She held on to not only the South Eastern 18/19 years title but took overall honours in that age group for all the regions taking part, which included the South West and London Counties.

Unfortunately it is her last year competing in the Age Group competitions, but she is looking forward to the National Age Group and British Championships in early December where she will also be taking part in the solo, duet, team and combination routines.
