A pub which only opened last year has been shortlisted for a prestigious design award.

Pier Five at Chatham Maritime is in the running for the prestigious Restaurant and Bar Design Awards in the pub category.

Now in its 10th year, the competition attracts entries from across the world.

The waterside pub, which also offers food, was opened by brewers Shepherd Neame last year.

An awards ceremony, where winners will be revealed, will take place in London on October 4.
