The former managing director of Zest The Agency , Terry Hewett , has been appointed the new chairman of Maidstone -based design agency GeoBrand.
Mr Hewett had run the Chatham communications agency for more than 30 years before stepping down in March 2019.
He now joins GeoBrand as the company launches its new brand identity and website. It was previously known as GeoMedia.
He will advise and consult on developing the business and securing new opportunities.
Mr Hewett said: “When I first met GeoBrand, I must say I was massively impressed with the levels of experience displayed by such a young team and their ability to produce some outstanding work.
“It was really important for me to be with a team that had the dedication, knowledge and know-how to deliver good branding, high level campaigns and really good strategy. The future is going to be very bright for GeoBrand.”
GeoBrand has been delivering design services to national and international companies for over 10 years.
Its client list includes the likes of Costa Coffee, London’s Air Ambulance and The Portman Estate.
On the issue of the firm's rebranding, director Andrew Dicker added: "Everything we do, whether that be design, illustration, digital or print, sits beneath the banner of ‘brand’. As an agency we will always be Geo. But going forward there will be no mistaking what we are. That we are and always will be brand specialists.”
