A construction company which has a regional division in Rochester has been awarded gold accreditation by Investors in People.
Knights Brown, a privately owned and independent construction firm, secured a gold ‘We invest in people’ rating.
Only around 16% of those accredited to the scheme secure the gold standard.
Inspectors gave it a resounding thumbs up, praising its guiding principles, staff motivation, supportive management, career opportunities, training and trust in the company.
The firm, which employs 47 people in its Rochester division, has been an accredited employer with Investors in People since 2007.
Investors in People practitioner Dorothy Shirvell said: “Achieving gold accreditation is a significant accomplishment and something everyone in the company should feel justifiably proud of. It is confirmation of a very positive and engaging culture and indicates there are some excellent and continuously improving people practices in place.”
Managing director Kevin Valentine added: “We have a brilliant team and it’s their hard work and professionalism that has earned this recognition. Our customers rely on us to deliver to high standards. This Investors in People achievement reflects their work and the effort that everyone puts into everything they do.”
