Topshop, Burton, Dorothy Perkins stores across Kent at risk as Arcadia Group struggles

The future of a host of high street stores will be decided at a crunch meeting later this week.

It formed part of a company voluntary agreement (CVA) - a move which sees negotiations take place with creditors and landlords in order for a business to continue to trade.

But the restructuring deal must be agreed at a meeting of the group's creditors taking place on Wednesday.

If it is rejected, the group, owned by Sir Philip Green, could go into administration or be sold off.

Across the nation, it has 560 stores and employs more than 22,000 staff.

It comes amid a flurry of news impacting high street giants, including Boots, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams, all of which has been attributed to the on-going woes of the high street.
