With functionality being the primary aim of the design, that decor was honed and further developed in the late sixties and early seventies when mills, warehouses, and factories began closing down across the UK.

Looking to keep old traditions alive, British architects and designers seized the moment in the aftermath of the industrial revolution and became inspired to use them for homes and living spaces.

“Our showroom displays are constantly updated and we’re always on the look out for good quality furniture to fit into perfect spaces,” continued Julie.

“We also have a very large display of lighting to compliment.”

Furniture @ Lighting Centre also offer an Interest Free Finance option to purchase lighting, indoor and garden furniture using a simple monthly payment plan with no applied interest.

This is available on all order values over £1,000 with an instalment payment plan over 6 or 12 months.

There is a minimum 10% deposit but no set up fees or other costs involved.

Using their own drivers, Furniture @ Lighting Centre offer free delivery in the South East for any purchases of £150 and over. They can also assemble any furniture that is delivered as well as remove all packaging and take it away for recycling.

Deliveries take place between Monday and Friday with two-hour time slots.
