KEiBA 2020: Last chance to enter in four key categories for Kent's premier business awards

Due to popular demand, organisers of this year's Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) are extending the deadline for entries in four key categories - but you've got to be quick.

The annual awards, organised by Kent County Council and the KM Media Group are acknowledged as being the gold standard across the region and deliver real benefits to firms shortlisted, as well as the winners.

But the chance to enter four awards have been extended to noon on Wednesday, March 4 - with the winners revealed during a special gala awards night taking place Thursday, June 18.

The categories still accepting entries are:

The Commitment to the Environment Award: This category is open to any organisation, irrespective of size or sector, that can demonstrate commercial success and strategies for growth whilst achieving excellence in innovation in its commitment to the environment. Apprenticeship of the Year: This award will present an excellent opportunity for business/organisations to showcase how young people are helping their business to grow. It will recognise an individual currently undertaking skills training through an apprenticeship, whilst also acknowledging the important role that the employer has in offering the young person the opportunity and in working alongside the apprentice in a supportive and motivational way. Valuing Disability of the Year: This category is open to any business, irrespective of size or sector, that can demonstrate commercial success through valuing disabled people who work for, and interact with, the business. For full details of the category and how to enter see here.

Manufacturer of the Year: One of the most prestigious categories, it is open to any business or organisation, irrespective of size. The organisation must have a manufacturing operation being undertaken in Kent and includes food, drink and print operations. For full details of the category see here.

This year's event was launched in January at the Hythe Imperial Hotel.
