Alexandra Gordon of Brachers and Emma Palmer of Whitehead Monckton get top Kent Law Society roles

The Kent Law Society has appointed its new president and vice president.

The organisation, which acts as the voice of the legal profession in the county, has confirmed Emma Palmer of Whitehead Monckton, which has offices in Maidstone, Canterbury and Tenterden, will be its president.

In addition, Alexandra Gordon of Maidstone-headquartered Brachers will be vice-president.

The appointments cement a strong female representation on the society's leadership team, which also includes Janet Goode and honorary treasurer and Deborah Hatton as honorary secretary.

Chief operating officer Jon Pitt completes the team.

Alexandra Gordon said: “I am delighted to become vice president.
