Lower Thames Crossing update at Kent B2B Medway event at Historic Dockyard Chatham

Delegates heading to the leading Kent B2B Medway event next month will get the chance to hear the latest on the Lower Thames Crossing.

In a special event taking place just before the main event's doors open on Thursday, September 20, a business breakfast, sponsored by chartered surveyors Caxtons, will take place between 7.15am and 8.30am.

Not only will it allow for some early morning networking and a bite to eat, it will act as a precursor to the main business event which runs from 8.30am to 4pm at the Historic Dockyard Chatham.

The breakfast event will take place in the Mess Deck and will include a welcome from Jo James, chief executive of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.

Guest speaker will be Highways England's Tim Jones - project director of the £6billion Lower Thames Crossing.

Prior to working for Highways England, Mr Jones was chief executive of Connect Plus, the company responsible for the £6bn contract for the M25 network.
