MegaGrowth 50 returns for 2025 - here’s how your business can make the prestigious list

MegaGrowth 50 - the annual awards that ranks the county’s fastest-growing businesses - is back for 2025 and applications are now open.

The prestigious league table recognises and celebrates innovative companies in the region that are driving strong economic growth.

Now in its 21st year, the annual list is based on the average turnover growth of privately-owned businesses with a minimum turnover of £1 million.

Figures are derived from their full acounts registered at Companies Houses across the last four years.

Businesses with four years’ notable turnover growth which do not register full accounts at Companies House can also be recognised - but to do so they must submit their accounts to MegaGrowth 50 organisers for consideration.

The MegaGrowth 50 list is compiled by business advisors and accountants Kreston Reeves, law firm Brachers and the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.

Nigel Fright, managing partner at Kreston Reeves, explained: “MegaGrowth 50, unlike traditional business awards, picks up the fantastic success stories of businesses who don’t ever shout about it.”

If you have filed a full set of accounts at Companies House in each of the last four years, you do not need to fill out an application form as your figures will be downloaded by the MegaGrowth 50 project team.

Others who wish to be considered should complete the application form. It’s free to apply and the deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday, November 8.

The full MegaGrowth 50 list will be published on March 26 on KentOnline to coincide with a celebratory breakfast for those firms who secure a place on this year’s rundown, which will be held at the Tudor Park Marriott Hotel in Bearsted.

Firms wishing to check their eligibility can contact enquiries@megagrowth50.co.uk.
