Sittingbourne-based Synecore agrees extended deal with sandwich giant Pret a Manger

A mechanical and electrical firm has clinched a deal to fit out at least another dozen Pret A Manger stores across the UK.

Synecore, which moved its base from Detling to Sittingbourne earlier this year, will start its new deal with work on the new Pret A Manger at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Ashford.

The firm has supported the national expansion of numerous hospitality and leisure clients in recent years and earlier in 2018 completed the mechanical and electrical contracts for various Pret outlets around the country - including those at Edinburgh Airport and Victoria Station.

While the electrical installations have remained consistent across the majority of UK sites to accommodate the brand’s interior design scheme, the air conditioning and ventilation installations have varied depending on the site’s access, planning, available services and external plant space.

Paul Thomas, Synecore’s MD, said: “We’re very used to working with restaurant brands on the national expansion plans, but supporting the development of one of the largest coffee shops in the UK is of course a pleasure.

“Companies like Pret choose Synecore for their mechanical and electrical needs because we have the ability to manage numerous projects all over the UK simultaneously. We’re also efficient and fast, which comes from years of experience and the support of a fantastic team.”
