Swale Heating secures contract with housing association Optivo to serve 8,000 homes in Kent

Boiler fixer Swale Heating has secured a contract with one of the UK’s largest housing associations.

The Sittingbourne-based company will provide services for Optivo, which has about 8,000 homes in Kent.

It maintains its 26-year relationship with AmicusHorizon, which formed Optivo when it merged with Viridian Housing.

Business development director Graeme Fotheringham said: “We have worked for more than two decades with AmicusHorizon and look forward to maintaining the highest standards for Optivo residents.

“Swale Heating recently became one of the first heating sector companies in the UK to achieve accreditations in quality of customer service and delivery, environmental consciousness and operating to the highest health and safety standards.

“We believe that makes us the perfect fit with Optivo, who share our commitment to care, quality and performance.”

Optivo’s Victoria Benson said: “I’m delighted we will be continuing to work with Swale Heating. They are a high quality service provider, hence the longevity of their association with us. We’ve both worked towards developing a strong, mutually supportive, partnered working relationship which ultimately benefits our residents.”
