Previously known as Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, the institution was awarded university title in 2018. Over the years, the university has built relationships and forged partnerships with a range of companies, from local enterprises to well-known organisations such as Amazon, the BBC, Ogilvy and Vivienne Westwood. Further to this, its staff aren't just highly regarded academics, they also bring years of industry experience from major players such as Vogue and Walt Disney Studios.

The results of the university’s collaborative efforts are reflected in its strong track record in graduate employment. The university has a graduate employability rate of over 90%, seeing most students go into work or further study within six months of graduating.

On the banks of the Thames, Ravensbourne couldn't be better placed alongside North Greenwich tube station and within easy reach of Dartford, Gravesend and Medway.

There's more than 35 trains a day from Strood to Greenwich, taking on average 60 minutes. From Gravesend the journey comes down to 45 minutes and from Dartford it's only around half an hour on the train.
