Huawei to speak at Talking Tech event at Kent Event Centre in Detling on April 23

The popular Talking Tech event is moving to a new location for its sixth outing.

Traditionally hosted at the Maidstone Studios, an influx of TV shows has forced it to relocate to the Kent Event Centre in Detling.

It's next show, which will focus on artificial intelligence and networking technology will take place at the new venue on Thursday, April 23.

Among the guest speakers at the event will be representatives from the Chinese firm Huawei.

They will be joined by figures from local firms Holiday Extras and Kent Public Services Network.

The audience will be invited to participate with questions and debate throughout the event.

Event director, Drew Morley, said: “The move to the Kent Event Centre has given us an opportunity to scale the event further, with even more space.

“Sticking to our exclusive community of IT professionals in Kent, we expect up to 150 delegates to attend the free event this time around, with some exciting speakers including head of IP networking from Huawei.”

The session starts at 8am and finishes at noon.
