In a climate with ever decreasing budgets, schools and VCSE organisations need to think more creatively about alternative sources of income.
However, writing funding applications can seem a bit daunting to those who are not used to it.
Rebecca will give you advice on where to find funders, top tips for success, and so much more. She will break writing funding applications into bite-sized chunks so that you feel more comfortable and confident to write your next bid.
This half-day course is designed for those working either in the education or in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sectors in Kent and who need to begin or improve their applications to grant-making funders.
Rebecca Smith is deputy CEO at Social Enterprise Kent and is a successful bid and grant writer, having raised over £1m in grants and contracts.
Rebecca has extensive experience of what it takes to write a winning application, but has also learned along the way what not to do.
