Anti-Brexit petition has almost 5 million signatures

An online petition asking the government to revoke Article 50 and stay in the EU has reached almost five million signatures — with more than 110,000 coming from Kent.

Now, each constituency has been ranked according to their support for calling Brexit off.

A table, updated live, breaks down signatories by constituency and shows the percentage of constituents who have signed.

An average of 500 people are putting their names down each minute.

As of this morning the results for Kent show the area with the most people in support of abandoning Brexit altogether is Canterbury with 12,026 signatures, representing a considerable 12% of constituents, while 15% of Tunbridge Wells residents have also signed.

Yesterday hundreds of thousands of of people descended on the Capital calling for any Brexit deal to be put to a public vote.

Organisers claimed at least one million activists turned out, if true it would be one of the largest marches of the century.
