A man has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in Folkestone.

The 27-year-old was bailed to appear in court in August.

It comes after an alleged attack near Cheriton Park where two teenage girls had been seen walking with a man between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday night.

One of the teenagers, aged 14, later reported she had been sexually assaulted.
