Bed and breakfast owner attacked in High Halden, Kent

Police are hunting two men who raided a bed and breakfast guest house in High Halden, spraying the 65-year-old owner with what is thought to be have been CS spray.

According to police, two men entered the house some time between 9.15pm and 9.37pm last Thursday and threatened the 65-year-old woman owner.

A police spokesman said: “The men demanded cash and sprayed her with a substance, believed to be CS spray.

“A guest was also sprayed with the substance, as was a dog. The two suspects stole a laptop computer and left the building.”

The men are described as white, in their early 20s, 6 ft 2 in tall, with slim builds. They were wearing dark clothing.
