Rob Key returns to lead Kent when they face Glamorgan in LV County Championship Division 2 at Canterbury starting on Wednesday.

Key (pictured right) was away last week on England Lions duty and replaces Justin Kemp in the only change from the side that beat Essex in spectacular fashion at Chelmsford on Saturday.

This is the first meeting between the two counties in four-day cricket for four years, with Kent winning the previous encounter by an innings and 124 runs in August 2005. Darren Stevens hit 208, his highest score for the county, in that game.

Glamorgan are without injured Australian batsman Mark Cosgrove and paceman James Harris. They are replaced in a 13-man squad by all-rounder Mike O'Shea and seamer Huw Waters.

Kent: Key (capt), Denly, Jones, Van Jaarsveld, Stevens, Hockley, Tredwell, Parnell, Joseph, Saggers. 12th man TBA
