Screenings of two films have been cancelled after a car drove into a cinema wall.

Cinema-goers who went to see The Crazies at Odeon at Dickens World in Chatham Maritime on Tuesday night were turned away.

Earlier in the evening a car had driven into the wall of screen six from the car park of Dockside Outlet Centre.

Showings of two films, The Crazies and Old Dogs, have been cancelled for today (Wedensday).

A spokesman for the cinema said: "We are open as normal apart from one screen.

"We have cancelled screenings of The Crazies and Old Dogs.

"It was just the wall that was damaged and we're looking to maybe reopen tonight, but we're not 100 per cent sure."
