Police have released this CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about an armed robbery at an Ashford bookmakers.

A man walked into William Hill in Court Wurtin, Beaver Lane armed with a kitchen knife and jumped on the counter demanding money.

He is described as white (possibly of Eastern European appearance), aged around 25, about 6ft tall and of medium build.

He had short cropped brown hair and was wearing a polo shirt with a distinctive Native American Indian head dress on the back.

Det Con Pete Edwards said: "We believe he has access to a small car and someone may have seen him parking before or driving away after the incident."

Anyone who recognises the man, or has any other information about the incident - which happened at around 7.15pm on Tuesday, June 30 - is urged to contact police or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
