Coral bookies robbed by masked man in Ashford

A Coral bookmakers in Kent was robbed by a masked man this afternoon (Friday).

Police were called to Trinity Road on the Eureka Park area of Ashford shortly before noon after a man, clad in a balaclava and sunglasses, entered the bookies and demanded cash.

He threatened a woman behind the counter but was not armed.

He then fled the scene with cash inside a Tesco bag.

The man is described as being six foot tall, slim and wearing a green jacket with a local accent.
