kmfm's Make Someone's Christmas helps Kent couple who lost their son to a cot death at just 6 months

Today's surprise call was an emotional one as we met Jamie and India who were nominated by a family member after they lost their baby, Toby when he was just six-months old.

Rob Wills from Drivetime called the couple at 6pm to gift them a special present, thanks to to kmfm and McArthurGlen, Ashford Designer Outlet.

Craig, Jamie's cousin said: "My cousin Jamie and his girlfriend India lost their baby Toby when he was just 6 months old in August 2018.

"Since then they have raised over £12,000 in his memory (including £2k at a Grease sing-along night a few weeks ago).

"They are raising money for other families to have access to a ‘cuddle cot’ which allows parents and families to spend longer with their infant.

"I would like to send them on a city break to give them some time together if possible"

Rob told the couple he was giving them a hotel break in Paris to enjoy and relax.

Make Someone's Christmas is in its fifth year and aims to surprise 10 people in Kent over two weeks.

kmfm has received hundreds of nominations about incredible people in the county.

Make Someone's Christmas with McArthurGlen Ashford Designer Outlet, is weekdays staged at 6pm from Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 20.
