A young pervert whistled the Queen hit Don’t Stop Me Now as he used his iPhone to film up the skirts of women in a supermarket.

Canterbury Magistrates Court heard Carl Underdown, 23, used the popular gadget to video 15 victims during a two-month spree at the busy Morrisons in Beach Street, Herne Bay.

The trainee electrician was told last Wednesday that he faces jail after magistrates heard he planned to post the clips on internet video site YouTube.

Prosecuting, Chris Mayo said: “Modern technology can be the downfall of many, as it was with this defendant.

“Mobile phones can take still photographs and many more are capable of filming video and there’s nothing wrong with that except when you’re in a busy Morrisons supermarket and your filming videos up the skirts of females.”

Mr Mayo said Underdown’s filthy filming came to an end after he was caught red-handed by eagle-eyed Lori Nelder on June 27.

The court heard she had been standing at the bread counter with her two-year-old daughter when she saw Underdown kneeling next to her.

Miss Nelder (pictured right) called the police and Underdown was arrested after returning to the store five days later.

In interview, he said he had recently split from his girlfriend and had become depressed.

Underdown, of Western Esplanade, Herne Bay, admitted filming Miss Nelder and owned up to 14 other incidents of “upskirting”. His iPhone was confiscated.

Defending, David Nelson said Underdown’s head had been turned by YouTube and prank shows like Jackass.

Underdown pleaded guilty to outraging public decency and will be sentenced later this month.
