Dad of Amy Winehouse reports to Commons committee

The father of singing sensation Amy Winehouse has appeared before a committee of MPs today (Tuesday).

Mitch Winehouse joined experts on drugs abuse to be quizzed about the cocaine trade and spoke on how drug addicts were getting themselves jarrested so they could get into rehab.

Addressing the Home Affairs Select Committee, Mr Winehouse said had spoken to a number of families for a documentary on drug abuse.

He has previously been outspoken about his concerns for his daughter's well-publicised drug problems - and even filmed her when appearing worse-for-wear.
