Delays to buses and trains are possible and flights and ferries are even at risk of being cancelled.

Fog is defined for aviation purposes as visibility of under 1,000 metres but that falls to something more like 200m when driving.

As a result motorists are urge to take caution on the county's roads.

The warning came in to place at 4am and is set to remain until 11am.

The Met Office warns that fog is often localised and can change quickly, meaning it is tricky to plan journeys around it.
