Thieves have stolen a distinctive bike worth almost £1,000 and valuable power tools in a burglary.

The trial bike (pictured above) and tools were snatched from an outbuilding in Bloors Lane, Rainham, in the early hours of Saturday.

The bike, a Kawasaki KX 65 and worth about £900, was taken between 3.10am and 10am, along with a £600 Hitachi saw and a number of other power tools.

The bike is said to be unique because the graphics on it were imported from America.

A Medway Police spokesman said: "Enquiries have been carried out and forensics attended the scene, but police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the burglary or anyone who has since seen the bike being used."

Anyone with any information should call 01622 690 690 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
