People should continue to socially distance themselves and not make trips to visit their mums today.
The message comes on Mother's Day from the government as the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise.
The latest figures show there are 45 people in Kent and 11 in Medway with the illness.
On Friday, it was revealed a 64-year-old man had died at Medway Maritime Hospital.
The number of people who have died in the UK with coronavirus rose to 233 on Saturday, as cases topped 5,000.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson says the NHS could be "overwhelmed" if people do not act to slow the "accelerating" spread of coronavirus and urged people not to visit their mothers.
The warning comes as NHS England plans to write to 1.5 million people most at risk.
Those at-risk people will receive letters or text messages strongly advising them not to go out for 12 weeks to protect themselves, the government said.
They include people who have received organ transplants, are living with severe respiratory conditions such as cystic fibrosis or specific cancers, such as blood or bone marrow.
