Dover man Ronald Fowles in court accused of plane threat

The trial of a Dover man charged with making a bomb threat on a plane has begun today.

Ronald Fowles from Edred Road is alleged to have made the threat on board a plane at Heathrow Airport just before it took off for Dubai in January last year.

The 58-year-old is also accused along with 48-year-old Alexander McGinn of being drunk on the aircraft and the pair will appear today at Southwark Crown Court.
