A man had to be cut free from his van after a three-vehicle crash on the Dartford Crossing approach road.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was driving a van in the middle of the two other vehicles on the A282 at 12.20pm today.

Two crews from Dartford fire station helped cut the man free by removing his van's back panel.

He was put on a spinal board and taken to hospital with suspected spinal injuries. Two lanes were cordoned off.
