Sid Clark - a pilot who admitted growing a crop of cannabis but failed to turn up at court - has been arrested by police.
The 48-year-old, of Tonbridge Road, Barming, failed to turn up to a sentencing hearing at Maidstone Crown Court in February. The judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
As well as the drug charge, Clark had also admitted abstraction of electricity.
Kent Police’s east division of the serious organised crime Unit teamed up with Avon and Somerset Police to find him. Clark was arrested after a house in Shepton Mallet was raided.
Clark has now been remanded in custody until his next appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on May 8.
He was first arrested in February 2008 after inquiries were launched into a plane crash which he was involved in at Farthing Common, near Lyminge, South Kent.
