EuroMillions £105 million winners move to £4.5 million Kent country estate

A conservatory fitter who won £105 million on the EuroMillions has moved in to a sprawling £4.5m country estate in Kent.

Steve Thomson and wife Lenka scooped the jackpot in November 2019 and have stayed in their £150,000 terrace home in West Sussex ever since.

But now the lucky couple and their three children have upgraded to the 14.5-acre plot in the heart of the county's countryside.

The 7,000 sq ft farmhouse — with two kitchens, six bedrooms, five reception rooms and a games room — comes with a swimming pool, tennis court, two lakes, a pond, stables, landscaped gardens and 'party barn', reports The Sun.

To keep himself grounded the 43-year-old - who says the win is still sinking in - will do any work on the giant property himself.

He's already kept working in order to finish projects he had on the go and among the couple's first purchases with their windfall – which at the time was the UK's 10th biggest – were a secondhand VW van for Steve and a Volvo XC90 for 42-year-old Lenka.

The pad is believe to have been bought from an IT tycoon, with neighbours reported to include rock stars and Hollywood actors.

Mr Thomson told the paper: “The kids have finally got their own bedrooms.

“It’s a simple thing but it was all they ever wished for.

“We are very lucky to be in this place but there’s a lot of work that needs doing, so I’ll be focusing on that for the time being.”

He added that it would take time to adjust to the lifestyle change.

Speaking after the draw, father-of-three Mr Thomson said he felt like he was having a heart attack when he realised he had the winning numbers on his Lucky Dip ticket.
