Firefighters tackle fire at farm in Ham Lane, Gillingham

Firefighters have battled a huge blaze at a farm.

Crews in ten fire engines were sent to the fire in a field of cut corn, in Ham Lane, Gillingham, just before 4pm.

They were joined by a vehicle carrying water.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus managed to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading.

No one was injured and the cause is not yet known.
