Five arrests after Margate stabbing

A man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in the chest in Margate.

The 24-year-old was attacked and suffered a punctured lung during the incident in Dane Valley Road on Saturday night.

The victim was taken to the QEQM hospital, where his condition is described as stable.

Five people from Margate - two 16-year-old boys, two men aged 24 and 36 and a 33-year-old woman - have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

They have been bailed until July 13, pending further investigation.
