Kent director of cricket Graham Ford has accepted a new coaching role in South Africa during the winter months.
Ford has been appointed coach of Nashua Dolphins, a role he will take up at the end of the English summer.
The South African, who has one year left of his Kent contract after this season, will return to St Lawrence in 2010 after spending the winter in his homeland.
