In Gravesend torrential showers saw part a car park collapsed outside the Toby Carvery with a DHL lorry becoming stuck in the void.

Parts of the county have already had heavy rainfall with roads in Maidstone town centre already flooded.

The Met Office warning is in place until 11pm tonight.

Delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible, but there have been no weather-related cancellations as of yet.

Puddles and spray on the roads, however, has made driving conditions difficult.

This afternoon's rain could be accompanied by thunderstorms, gusty winds and hail in places.

The yellow weather warning will be lifted tonight.
