POLICE are today still searching for up to four people after another Kent store was targeted by ram-raiders in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The gang used a JCB digger to smash into the shop front and steal a cash machine from the Tesco Express in Canterbury Road, Hawkinge, near Folkestone, at around 2.30am.

The cash machine was then loaded onto a flat-bed lorry. A 4x4 vehicle was also part of the convoy that escaped in the direction of Folkestone

It is not yet known how much cash was stolen. The shop is cordoned off with police tape and has a police officer on guard at the scene.
