A Kent film-maker is appealing for extras for his latest project.

Ben Pullen, 35, is filming Wayfaring Stranger, about an errant blues singer whose son takes him to task in public for being a bad parent.

It is set mainly in Whitstable, and the extras are needed to form the audience in the town's Old Neptune pub on April 28 and 29.

The film was written by Billy McKinnon, whose previous work includes Hideous Kinky starring Kate Winslet, and directed by Rick West, who worked on horror movie Corpse, a film produced by Mr Pullen.

Mr Pullen said: "Wayfaring Stranger is a homage to the North Kent Coast.

"We are looking for interesting Kent faces and people who would like to spend a day with us being extras."

Anyone interested in becoming an extra should email a photo of themselves to info@sentinelentertainment.com with contact details or phone 01233 740185.
